ABOUT THE PRODUCT PHOTO.

We take photos of the products with a camera in a professional studio environment. Our goal is to give you more accurate colors. We can also shoot in daylight, but we use the studio environment to avoid clouds and sun exposure.

I'd be more than happy to share more photos and videos with you , please don't hesitate to ask me.

as you know every screen shows colors a bit differently so I highly recommend looking at these photos in multiple screens to get a sense of true colors.

DEFECTS IRREGULARITIES

Please keep in mind all of our rugs are handmade , and like any other handmade item , all have small imperfections which is not a defect but rather a sign of being unique and a piece of art.
Most notably , we cannot expect handmade rugs to be perfectly exact in size on all sides. Sometimes one side of a handmade rug is slightly wider than the other side but this is completely natural due to being made on a loom. Also unlike machine made items , handmade rugs do not have completely straight lines , sometimes the design is slightly asymmetrical or the lines are not 100% straight or one side is slightly bulging in or out. These are all natural for all handmade rugs , let alone vintage ones and nothing to be worried about.

IS THIS RUG CLEAN AND READY TO USE ?

We acquire these rugs in bulk from different villages , bring them to our warehouse , wash them first to reveal the true color and get rid of all the dust.
We lay them out under the sun to make the colors a bit more faded and also completely dry the rug. Then depending on how distressed the pile already is , we begin clipping, scrubbing and power washing the pile to make it lower and even.
We then wash them once more and lay out in front of direct sunlight to dry out.

We also keep our warehouse in pristine condition clean with perfect temperature and air moisture so that you can be sure any rug you buy from us will be completely clean , moisture and odor free.

CARE INSRUSTIONS

There are many many Articles online to help with cleaning your rug in specific situations but the jest of it is:
Do not clean your vintage rug with normal detergents , the colors are organic and will fade if you do so.none of our rugs are machine washable , do not attempt to do so.
for small spots you can blot it with damp cloth , for more effective way damp the cloth with a bit of vodka!
for larger spots and also general cleaning please contact your local carpet cleaner.
it is suggested to vacuum these rugs at least every couple of weeks to keep it clean.
for general up keep its a good idea to have the rug professionally washed every couple of years.

RETURNS

Of course ,
if you don't like your rug , you can ask for a return up to 3 days after delivery and ship it back within 7 days.
returns are 100% possible but no always feasible.
As you know shipping cost is at an all time high now , and by etsy house rules return fees are on the customer , this policy works perfectly for smaller items it for bulky heavy items like rugs shipping them back and forth around the globe is extremely expensive.
So please choose careful , we'll be at your service with anything you need.
